This page is for erasing what Jannah: Your Path To Allah (com.allahpolice.app) has stored without deleting your account. The app’s anonymous ID stays as it is.
If you want the account gone as well, use Delete your account instead — it erases everything on this page and the account too.
What this removes
Everything Jannah: Your Path To Allah holds about you lives on your own phone. Clearing the app’s storage erases all of it:
- Your mobile number, as stored in the app’s profile.
- Language, gender, hometown and prayer-calculation choices.
- Notification preferences and whether menstrual mode is on.
- Daily goals, streak history and bookmarked duas.
- Saved location — the coordinates and city name used for prayer times.
- All scheduled prayer notifications.
How to do it
- Open Android’s Settings app — the phone’s, not the app’s.
- Go to Apps → Jannah: Your Path To Allah → Storage. Some phones label this Storage & cache.
- Tap Clear storage (or Clear data), then confirm.
The next launch starts from the first-run flow, as a fresh install would, and asks for your number again.
What is left afterwards
The anonymous account record held by Google Firebase Authentication — an opaque ID and the date it was issued, with no name or email address — and, if you subscribed, your subscription record on our server: whether you have access, the UPI Autopay mandate and the payments under it, and the number it was registered under. Clearing data keeps both, so a subscription carries on working.
There is no separate profile or history to clear alongside them: nothing you read, recite or mark as done is stored off the phone. Advertising-measurement events already sent to Meta are not stored by us either; the privacy policy explains what they contain and how to limit them.
Asking us instead
Your settings and history are on your phone, so clearing the app’s storage, or uninstalling, is the whole of it. To have a subscription record deleted, cancel the subscription and see Delete your account.
Write to us with any question about this, or about what the app holds, and we answer within 30 days.
